Is there anything better than a free sewing pattern?
Yes, there is! A free sewing pattern from Choly Knight!
The “Sew Desu Ne?” blog was one of the things that really peaked my interest in sewing. I’m completely self-taught and have learned by reading tutorials online and working through progressively harder patterns. Choly Knights patterns were a great place to start: small, interesting, easy to follow and understand and many are free. Most are plushy patterns. And who doesn’t love a plushy!
I will, without a doubt, end up showcasing more of my finished projects from Knight’s patterns in the future. In the meantime, I have to share one that I’ve been itching to try. I’ve been wanting to do some quilting recently, and this is definitely a pattern I could see myself enjoying.
Choly Knight’s Nyan Cat Quilt Pattern!
Choly Knight actually hosted a Quilt-a-long for the Nyan Cat quilt and it’s available on the website. There are incredible step-by-step instructions. It’s broken up into weekly chunks. If you are planning a new quilt I would definitely recommend considering this one!
While you’re there, take a peek around the blog. You’ll definitely find some neat patterns and some new ideas. The plushy designs are some of the best sewing plush patterns I’ve ever seen! Enjoy!
